I am so happy! Hiroki is going to be our class assistant in Japanese for the semester. I was almost about to turn fully red and I was smiling way too much. I greeted him and he told me that he is even in 4th hour WS class (me too!) I am also in Graphic Design with Joel and Robb 5th Hour. Yay! ^^ I have Ms. Trost for math and still have Mrs. Ossenmacher for Writ/Lit. It was overall a good day. I have lunch with Robb, Joel, Kimi, Jordan, Corey, Kaitlyn, and other people who I have no idea who they are. ^^;;;. We have Lunch B. Joel is a attendance assistant 6th hour and I am a office assistant 6th hour so we may get to hang out for a while during 6th hour. I am happy that Algebra is 7th hour.

2:55 am - Let the Rain Wash Away Our Sins and the Darkness Fade Away...
|
This poem is dedicated to all of those, who lost their lives from the 500mph tsunamis and the earthwake that devastated the Southern region of Asia including Sri Lanka, Cambodia, Thailand, Malaysia, and any others that I did not name.
Tsunamis of Bitter Destruction
As all of our happiness drained away,
friends and families were all drowned and washed away. Homes, temples, schools were also among the debri, along with what we could not see.
Those submerged under the glistening ocean water,
struggling towards the surface for one last glance.
Those tsunamis were as much as we could bare,
there is not much left.
44,000 and still counting among those who were consumed.
Among those massive waves which brushed our shores,
lies the devastatingly massive ruins.
As we come out into the light,
we know we must stay strong.
So, as you can see i wrote this through what I thought might be the perspective of one of the survivors from this horrible occurence. My deepest sympathies to all of those who had lost their friends and family. My thoughts are with you always.

3:28 am - Self-Help Lessons 101...
|
I have observed the horrible occurrences and heard of them by word-of-mouth. I know that I am not the only one who suffers. I just wish we could make this world a better place without making any violent actions. Some day, we will just not now. We suffer emotionally, physically, and just plain psychologically. We must forget our horrid pasts and ignore those who show signs of ignorance, obnoxiousness, and pure evilness. Civilized Anarchy To-Do List
1.We must overthrow all that is bad.
2.We must ban the civilian ownership of guns for hunting poor helpless animals should count as murder.
3. We must get George Doubya out of the White House.
4. We must restore all Clean Air and Water policies to preserve the environment.
5. We must keep ourselves from falling the long distance down towards the ground.
6. Treat others as you would like to be treated.
7. Start a non-violent revolution. If the time comes, we must use self-defence to stand our ground.
8. Clear up all lost ties with other countries.
9. Ban hunting of any creature.
10. Restore the peace and prosperity of this country.

10:11 pm - Britt Shares some of the same characteristics as Kyo...
|
If you compare Britt to Kyo in this animated Live Journal icon, Britt could do the same dance. I call it, "Kyoesque" ^^ We got a digital camera. Banzai!!!! I am really happy because now I can take pictures of all of my friends, Katy, Ben, Alyssa, Joel, Britt, Robb, Jordan, Simon, Hiroki (if he allows me), and Kevin...if I am not shy even though, I don't know him personally. I should take a picture of Orhe, Christina, and other people. I really like keeping pictures and actual footage of great unforgetable memories. I have been keeping very memorable pictures since as far back as I can remember. I am even remastering them in a manga style as a recreative project. I love pictures and portraying those important and impactful memories in my life really helps pull through the struggle and hardships I face. Thank you so much to everyone. I am bringing Christmas presents on Monday. I would like to get a group picture of everyone on Monday at lunch if that would be ok with everyone as well as misc. pictures of randomness of everyone. I have to study for a science test on biochemestry...on monday and a math quiz on slope-intercept forms of equations, point-slope forms of equations, line of fit, linear regression, and that basically includes factoring, negative and ositive integers, properties of equality, commutative properties of addition and multiplication, and assosciative properties of addition and multiplication. Happy holidays of all to everyone! ^^ Celebrate with ecstacy and keep your mind at peace and balance all unequal balances of your well-being. I know we have finals coming up...Really sucks...Let's pull through. I will study during the last few days of break after Christmas so I can at least try to enjoy it...I don't think I will manage it well if I don't study during the holidays since, there is much to do before final exam week. Talk to you later, everyone.

4:50 pm - Life Will be Well-Worthwhile...
|
Last night, Max pretended to be a student from Andover and had me from Andover saying that he had a problem with his "girlfriend" and said that his friends gave him my name and said that I was a good person to talk to me. I looked his fake name and girlfriend's name in the student directory and no sign so I knew it was Max. I then, called Max and asked him if it was him and said that I was playing a trick on him. He me that I fucked up his life up really bad. He gained weight, cried, and was sleep-deprived all week. Yesterday, my dad, Christina, Michael, and I went to Ann Arbor for the day. We went to trade my dad's turntable in on another turn table and some new speakers. Then we went to Wizzy Wig and bought some Christmas presents for almost everybody. Then we went to eat at Gratzi. After that we picked up the speakers and they would not fit in the trunk. We had to squish in front. I sat on Christina's lap for most of the time. It started snowing. We were on the road for 2 hours before we made it to Michael's house. We stopped at a gas station and re-arranged ourselves and Michael sat on my lap. We had fun. Wizzy Wig was very empty due to the nasty weather. It was cool.

11:34 pm - The Meaning of Life...
|
This is one of my very rare interpretations of every day life. I think and what do I find. I find only two or three certain dreams which make up the meaning of my life. To meet Dir en grey in my life, to move to Japan, and to become a manga/anime artist. However, when I think of life in general, there is no real meaning of life. Why go to school? Why be forced to learn nothing you care about? Why be forced to suffer? Nirvana will always be far out of our reach and who knows when we will reach that peak. When I think about it, the things that I am forced to learn which I do not want to learn yet, I am taught against my will. This knowledge will not help me in the next life. I won't remember it and will be taught some of it over again in the next life. So, our lives unfold. I am facing my worst nightmare aging and growing up. I want to remain young forever. My dad says I have a woman's legs and I got pissed because I was skinnier last year and stayed between 93 and 97 lbs. Now I am 5'2, 109 lbs. and have a fucking fat ass. Why couldn't I be genderless? Is that so much to ask? I want to the excess fat taken out of my thighs, calves, and ass. I am not having children at all. Second, of all I am pissed at Max...This will be discussed in a later journal entry.

10:17 pm - Anata no namae wa nan deska?
|
First I had Japanese 100. We reviewed Hiragana "A" to "So". We also watched some more of this Hiragana (Shido) video, where they say the pronounciation and paint it with chimes playing in the background. I love it. Then, we read a passage in Hiragana. I saw "oka" in there, which means hill, height. We also had a quiz on the Hiragana for "A" to "So". When, I was called on to name the Hiragana on the overboard I did it quickly. Afterwards we listened to "Rapanese" as sensei calls it. I like how they said "Anata no namae wa nan deska?". I am very proud of myself. In Drawing, Katie, Alyssa, Christina, Adrienne, and I conversed. I finished my contour line drawing of my hand in three different perspectives today. At lunch, I did not see Christina and Jacob in the Cafe until, they found me in line. We had lunch together. I ave no clue where Hiroki-kun was. I wonder where he was. Christina and Jacob did not see him either. At the Sierra Club I did my signature job of stamping the postcards and called Max. I spoke to him for 10-15 minutes. We are hanging out on Friday.

6:28 pm - Lost In Translation...
|
Monday 8/23/04
The first day of high school was wicked awesome. The buzzer woke me up at exactly 5:30 a.m. Christina and I have to catch the bus at 6:53 a.m. My 1st Hour class is Japanese 100. Ms. Sturtz is a very nice teacher. She has an assistant in each of her Japanese classes. Ayumi-san is the assistant for our class. My half sister, Christina is the assistant for her class. My 3rd Hour class was Drawing. Christina also had Drawing and so did Katie and Alyssa. Before school began, Katie introduced Christina and me to her friends, Brint, Alicia, Kimmy, Tara, and a few others. They are all juniors just like Christina. I saw Ashley and Eric also. After Drawing class, we had lunch. I didn't have anything because I forgot my money even though Christina offered to buy me lunch. After lunch, Christina had ESL (5th Hour) and I had Writing/Literature 1. I walked down the narrow hallway towards the Art hall and of course, Katie, Alyssa, Ashley, Eric, and the others are hanging around there until they have to go to class. Then, I headed to Writing/Literature 1. Nothing too much. The last class was integrated Science with Mr. Huta. He is impulsive. No homework on the first day except for some fun Japanese.
Tuesday 8/24/04
My first class was Algebra 1. We had to work in groups and make a black letter "H" out of different shaped blocks of wood. Then ,I had World Studies 1 and Ms. Sturtz had me help out by putting name print outs on the desks. My friends, Kaitlyn, David, and a few others who, I cannot remember were in the same class as me. Hiroki Takagawa sits next to me. He is a really nice person. He is from Nagasaki, Japan and is staying here until he graduates. He is a junior. I asked him if he wanted to join Christina and myself for lunch. At first, he did not understand so, I asked once more and he replied "Yes." I headed to meet with Christina and ask about our lockers. I had a locker but, the combination was wrong and Christina did not have a locker. I went to Mr. Bowers' office and I started to speak but, Mr Bowers said "No need to speak, I already know," because all of the freshmen had trouble with their lockers and all of the foreign exchange students did not have lockers. I got the correct locker combination but, Christina still didn't have a locker. I went back to the Cafe. i found Christina and asked her if she had seen Hiroki. She said "No," so, i looked around. I saw someone. I went up to this person and asked "Is your name Hiroki?" He replied "No," so I felt stupid. I should have remembered because he was in my Writ./Lit. class and his name was Simon. I went back to wait in line with Christina. Five minutes later, I saw Hiroki walking out of the Cafe and followed him. i tapped him on the shoulder and asked "If he was going to eat lunch and he did not understand so well. I explained and then, him and I walked over to Christina. We all had lunch and conversed. Then, I had to leave and said "Itiki mas, matane" (I am leaving, see you you later). Hiroki replied "Mata," which is short for matane if you are speaking with a friend or someone you know. Then, I headed to Writing/Literature 1. Nothing new. After that I had Keyboarding/Word Processing upstairs on the third floor. I met Christina and we sat at the the computers that were close to the window. Nobody had their password so, we had to have Mr Whitmire get us logged on. I changed my password to ***. Max, you know the password. Lol. After that, we caught the bus and headed home. Not a lot of homework that day.
Wednesday 8/25/04
Again, the stupid buzzer woke me up at 5:30 a.m. I always end up on the side right next to the nightstand. Then, after getting ready, we got on the bus. Dan Carter, Chris, and Trevor along with Taylor rides our bus. I had Japanese 100 and we learned Hiragana "a-so". We watched this video called "Waku Waku Hiragana". We will watch it for another six weeks. Ms. Sturtz said that we are in kindergarten right now since, the Japanese learn Hiragana in kindergarten and Katakana in 1st through 2nd, and Kanji in third grade. The video is an animated film. It is so funny and kawaii. Martin has changed. He was saying, "This is stupid," so I will stay out of his way. The anime club I am going to start will be delayed for a while until I get everything figured out. We have yet to get our planners because of one lousy misprint... I will continue the agenda for this past week later....Tomorrow...Sleepy. Oyas minasai.

7:29 pm - Why must you be so irrational?
|
Everyone seems to be out of town for camp. Everyone turned into a bunch of mindless zombies. Why? Grr...Curse those camps. People would rather be eaten alive by pesky mosquitoes instead of staying home or hanging out. Well, I had a busy schedule for six and a half weeks. The schedule was becoming slightly bothersome. That is all for now. I'm downloading Dir En Grey's new single album since, I am too broke to buy it at the moment. It's called "Saku". It was released on July 7, 2004. I am saving up to buy the actual Japanese import. I can't wait.

9:15 pm - "Lifeless"
|
Hanging from a tree,
For all to see,
They will leave me,
I am surrounded by cherry blossoms,
As time goes by,
I slowly die,
As the days go by,
The marionette calls to me,
Leave me be,
The marionette senses my essence, If it ever vanished,
Then I would be banished,
I try to reach for its claws,
They are like massive tiger claws,
It embraces me,
Even though it dared not to face me,
It protects me from those,
Who chase me,
Words cannot express the devotion he shows, No one knows him
It would seem like his past was awfully grim,
His dark past has come to an end at last

I finally finished customizing my Live Journal. I am very, very satisfied with the results. But, please...Could everyone please tell me if they can read the font? If I get comments from everyone indicating that the font is difficult to read due to the contrast between the magenta text and black on white background, then I will change the background image to something that everyone is able to read. I have had this Live Journal for one and a half years thanks to Mike (Kitty). I was just too lazy to read the FAQ section to learn how to customize my Live Journal. Arigatou Gozaimashta, everyone. Your comments would be most appreciated ^^.

5:01 pm - Arigatou Gozai Mashta ^^...
|
I woke up at 6:00 a.m. this morning. Then, I went to Andover High School for my summer physical education class from 7:30-10:00 a.m. Mr Devito, my physical education instructor from BHMS is teaching it. We ran the 1.5 mile endurance run in pairs. You had to get a partner. Then, you or your partner ran first (six times around the track). I teamed up with a new friend, Kerry. I ran first. I ran the 1.5 mile endurance run with out stopping in 15 minutes and 34 seconds. I have to practice. I really want to be on Andover's track team this year and maybe the tennis team since, I love tennis. Everyone cheered each other on. Everyone is so nice. None of my friends from BHMS are in the early morning class so I'm in the same class as other freshmen as well as sophomores and juniors. I made new friends (Kerry, Abby, and Lindsey). After the 1.5 mile endurance run, we had a 10 minute break. I hung out with my friends and then we played basketball until 10 a.m. Then, I talked with my friends; Martin, Chris, Orhe, Dan, and Michael. I told them exactly what they were going to be doing in summer physical education class. They are in the later class. At last we will all get 1/2 of our health credits, which are needed for graduation from high school out of the way. It was fun even if it was sort of like boot camp. Then, I met my friends: Michael, Shaina, and August at Game Works at The Great Lakes Crossing mall. We each got a two hour time card. We played Dance Dance Revolution Exreme for the whole time. August got me a black kanji bracelet. Arigatou, August-kun ^^. Arigatou gozai mashta, Michael-kun for inviting me. Arigatou gozai mashta Stephens-sama. It was really awesome. I have improved by a lot. I'm getting better on Genki and I'm a professional on Standard mode. We have to get together again. Talk to everyone later.

|
Today, was our 8th grade graduation ceremony. I wore my long teal chi pao (Chinese dress) for the occassion. Everyone loved the dress. Everyone was dressed for this "formal" occassion. Some people mistook my dress for a kimono (hehe). I talked with all of my friends and gave hugs to as many people as possible. It's was an emotional event. Just think...it was as if we had started attending middle school only yesterday. Everyone received awards and certificates of 8th grade recognition. Then, we had cake and orange juice to celebrate. I talked with some of my friends and my dad took pictures of friends and their families. My friend, Alison, was crying. As I said before...it was quite emotional. I hugged her and I must admit that it was very depressing. I told her that it would be okay. Tim, Alison, Josh, Chris...and many others are attending Lahser High School. I'll be attending Andover High School. Before I left, I hugged Josh since I won't be attending the same high school as him but, we'll hang out during the summer with Chris (hopefully).
